Default Continued rewards for faction

Once you have achieved full unlock there's really nothing left you can do with balthazar faction, so how about special prizes be given after this milestone?

Here's how it would work. There would be a priest of balthazar who will turn 1k faction into a medallion of recognition. These would then be traded in for prizes at another trader.

Example prizes:

1 medallion:Beer, rice cakes, flame of balthazar
10 medallions:Obsidian Key (makes up for the fact that nobody chest runs really after the nerf)
100 Medallions: Increased storage size (Eventually storage size would max out)
1000 Medallions: Extra character slot

Each campaing will be more skills at least one more hero (thought they should be at least one per new class...) and more insignia and maybe rune and weapon unlocks.

Ho much time takes to unluck all of that?

I like your idea, and had a similar idea of my own somewhere on the forums. The problem is that nobody can figure out what the prizes would be. Alcohol, sugar rush items, etc would be fine for a low prize, but...wait a minute, a character slot costs a million faction? I don't even have that much yet and I've been pvping for a year.

I do agree there should be prizes for faction. I've lost roughly 300K faction from being capped.

it doesn't take as long as you think.

currently, i have all the insiginia, weapon, shield, and focus upgrades unlocked from iding stuff while working on wisdom titles. I have all elites unlocked from going after the skill hunter titles. I own all ele and mesmer skills on my main character so those are all unlocked. I also have all the monk, warrior, and necro skills unlocked so far as well as a many of the skills in the other professions. Since I currently play mostly on my ele, the other profession skills will be unlocked as I start to play the other professions more often.

Flame of Balthazar is worth 1k faction, it shouldn't be a free trade, free trade doesn't exist in GuildWars.

Thats all I need rly, and you're prolly right about the flame tho, not sure why I put that in there o.O

Anyways this solves two problems:Allows increased storage to those who work for it and

Allows for a balthazar faction title since continued rewards allows people with full unlock to dump their faction

No PvE rewards for PvP. The direction for the last few months has been seperating the two aspects of the game, which is for the better. I do agree with rewards for PvP though, maybe some nice armor skins or something for PvP characters(make us grind for it 10x as hard if it makes everyone happy ). No reason looking pretty should be PvE exclusive.

How about every 10k Balthazar, you get 2k gold. Now you have something to work towards and in the time it takes to get 10k Faction, you could probably farm 15k gold. So its not that bad to get a little sum of 2k.

Gold for Bal Faction would be great. I'd go leech faction in RA and HA. It'll make up for all of the PvP people who stand around and leech in FA because it's not "real" PvP.

THey will never give Charactr slots ingame. You'll always have to pay them.
Either by preordering, purchasing them or by buying new chapters.

I'd like to see a variety of unlockable armor and weapon skins, possibly even skins you could NOT get in PVE, EVER.

I think the unlockable pvp only armor would be a cool idea, especially since the pvp type armor should be more "professional" than the dirty rags and such grimy mail you'd wear for adventuring.
